Ecosystem - preliminary #2

I have eliminated many of the images in my design.  I am using a pen for this sketch. I am attempting to focus more on the stormwater (rain and snow) drain which leads to the waterways and express that dumping waste in the drains are harmful to our water supply. 

ECO Art Award-Biodiversity

I have selected the fine art category of the Eco Art  Award competition to design  a visual of an urban environment.  It will display the need for a storm water management plan to avoid debris from going down the sewer drain to nearby lakes, rivers and bays.  In the background of the sketch is an apartment complex which faces a grassy area with a large tree on it. In the foreground is the street curb and sewer drain with leaves, oil and grease covering the drain before it rained.  In the background of the composition is another drain after the storm  that is clear of debris

Alicia Keys Album cover - Songs in A Minor

My first idea was to use the same image used on the original album cover then trace it.  I later decided to select a new photograph of Alicia Keys for my final album cover.  My objective was to select  an image that would reflect the fact that this album was the the 10th  anniversay edition of the Album Songs in A Minor.  The photograph I chose is a more vibrant  image of the artist to match her persona.    I selected Broadway type because it would be the appropriate font to go with the vintage nightclub style gown Alica is wearing.

Figure is the album cover from Alicia Keys  Songs in A Minor 10th Anniversary Edition. I have done traced the cover using preset settings.  This is my preliminary cover.

I traced this raster image of piano keys using the grayscale tracing option which produced a vector image.
